For 10 years, I ran Estúdio Marujo, a small award-winning creative studio that I co-founded in Brasília, Brazil, focused on serving local businesses and initiatives. Working under the motto "The journey is better when we go together", we developed a business strategy based on a collaborative methodology that builds on the participation of clients throughout the whole design process. By the time I left the boat, in 2022, I had participated in more than 150 projects from the first contact with clients to the final outcomes.
Between 2020 and 2023, I served as senior design consultant in the newly created Media and Communications team of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights [IACHR]an autonomous agency of the Organization of American States [OAS]. During this period, I helped establishing design work processes within the team and designed visual identities, human rights reports and awareness campaigns for social media. In this role I explored ways of communicating different human rights issues  with accessible and non-discriminatory graphics.
